We love meeting brides and grooms who are looking forward to customizing their wedding decor. Luckily at Molto Bene's our venue spaces are fantastic blank palettes - if you can dream it, we can most likely accommodate it.
Who says your wedding has to be matchy-matchy?
I always love attending weddings to gather ideas and bring them back to the brides/grooms of Molto Bene’s.
This past week I had the pleasure of attending a Somona Valley wedding at Kunde Winery in California.
The bride and groom are a laid back pair and I could tell their main goal of their wedding was for everyone to feel comfortable and have a lovely evening. This translated well into their wedding party attire. The bride asked the bridesmaids to simply pick a pink dress in any shade and style that suited their skin coloring and body shape. The groomsmen were told to wear any suit they so desired, but were each given a pink tie designed specifically for this wedding.
The cocktail hour consisted of wine from Kunde, a few chosen spirits such as Grey Goose vodka, sparkling flavored water for the non-drinkers, and chocolate milk for the children which being the mom of one of them made me smile at their thoughtfulness.
The dinner menu consisted of buffet stations which added to a lot of guest interaction. We can certainly do something similar at Molto Bene. Their stations were:
Portabella mushroom or beef sliders with toppings
Fried Mac ‘n Cheese balls
Baked Mac’ n Cheese with assorted toppings
Dessert was assorted cupcakes – my favorite being the dark chocolate one filled with caramel and topped with dark chocolate frosting and a sprinkle of sea salt!
My take away: Think outside the box. It’s your wedding day. Who says it has to be traditional?
